I had my first OB appointment today with my new doctor. I like her okay so far, it will be hard to fill Dr. Cobb's shoes but I am hopeful she can at least come close. I had an ultrasound to check my dates and I was spot on with a due date of September 5th, 2009! I will try to take pics of the ultrasound pictures and will post them later if they turn out. Baby still looks like a little bean so they aren't real exciting!
I am also in need of suggestions for a nickname for baby while in utero. Tucker was known as Hanky but I'm drawing a blank for this one. So far I have thought of Crackle and Sparky but I'm not in love with either. Any suggestions?????? (saying that when I don't even know if I have any readers, haha.)
Well, today marks 7 full weeks of being knocked up! I started having some nausea this week, which is a bit rough with an infant, but it's also oddly reassuring. Tucker has been amazing though, I think he must sense that I need to rest because he has taken naps with me for a few hours at a time. Sleeping through the nausea seems to help and I think he loves the snuggle time with Mommy (I do too, of course!).
We are leaving for Breckenridge on Tuesday so I am hoping for no car or altitude sickness! I also can't wait to start showing so I can take some belly pics! Right now I'm afraid it's all just first trimester bloat and leftover pooch from Tucker! Speaking of which, I am accepting donations to my PayPal account to go toward my boob lift and tummy tuck when I'm done popping out little rascals. If you need a new charity to donate to, I'm your girl.
My only symptom so far: horrible night sweats! I had them continually last night and was sweating so much, it was dripping down my body, soaking my sheets and pillow, my hair was soaked, etc. It was disgusting! I had to keep moving sides of the bed (Ryan fell asleep downstairs, thank goodness) to let the sheets dry between episodes! I had minor night sweats with Tucker, but nothing compared to this! :/
