We are still here!

Sorry for the lack of updates, I am waiting on my doula's version of the birth story because things are kind of fuzzy from my perspective. I should be getting to see her next week and will get it all put together after that!

Chloe slept for pretty much the entire first four weeks. It was strange and we even had moments where we worried something was wrong with her. She is more alert now and has been giving us toothless grins for about 2 weeks!

She also had quite the bout with colic. It seems to be getting better now, thank goodness! There were some nights we were both in tears! At her one month doctor visit, she was 9lb 7oz, only 3 more ounces than Tucker was at birth!

She is such a beautiful baby and every day I look at my children and wonder how I became so lucky. Seriously, I am so blessed!

She's Here

Chloe Noelle McMillen was born at 5:46pm on September 2nd! After a drug-free delivery (which deserves a post all its own that will come when I have time), she "plopped" into the world at 8 pounds 1 ounce, 18 inches long. Pics and birth story to come in a few days, hopefully!

39 weeks, 4 days....Labor??

I am pretty sure I'm in labor. I've been having consistent contractions for hours now and they are getting more painful. I've called my doula to give her a "heads up" and am supposed to call her again when I can't talk through my contractions. Hopefully we will be welcoming Tater into the family before day's end!

He said if he had to guess, I will still need my office appointment next Thursday (which is also the full moon). He also said that although I don't look like it, I may have another 9+ pound baby. He said some women just hide it well.
